About Jay

First things first. I want to thank you for stopping by my little corner of the internet! My name is Jason Cabral, but you can call me “Jay”. Whether you bleed Patriots blue or live for the next big WWE premium-live-event, it all comes together here.

Here’s a little about me. I’m from a smalltown kid from the state of Rhode Island trying to make it in this world as a writer and author. I’ve always had a passion for professional wrestling and football. And now I get to write about those things or anything that interests me, hence “the collective”.

During my time at the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth, I began studying Computer Science. I thought video game development would be my career. After the first few semesters, I realized I no longer had a passion for Computer Science. I decided to make the switch to English – Creative & Professional Writing. It was there, that I found a passion for writing and started to believe I could make a career out of writing about the things that matter to me.

Why the Jay Cabral Collective?

I wanted a space where I can just be me and write what I feel and think. And not only that, I wanted a space where people of all different interests could come together and maybe find a new interest or hobby, maybe find a new perspective on something they’ve debated for a long time, whatever the case may be.

At the end of the day, this isn’t just for me, but for your enjoyment. And I hope you do enjoy the content! If you do, I hope you subscribe and continue to support me in my journey as a writer. And I hope this inspires writers to create content, not only for others, but for themselves and encourages them to put themselves out there.
